008: At Home – En casa

Pablo opens the door of his apartment and steps inside. He hangs his coat on the hook and takes off his shoes. The living room is warm and comfortable.
Pablo abre la puerta de su apartamento y entra. Cuelga su abrigo en el gancho y se quitа los zapatos. La sala de estar está caliente y cómoda.
He walks to the kitchen to make himself a sandwich. He opens the fridge and takes out cheese, ham, and lettuce. There is also fresh bread on the counter.
Camina a la cocina para hacerse un sándwich. Abre el frigorífico y saca queso, jamón y lechuga. También hay pan fresco en la encimera.
While making his sandwich, Pablo turns on the radio. Music plays softly in the background. He hums along while cutting the vegetables. The kitchen smells delicious.
Mientras hace su sándwich, Pablo enciende la radio. La música suena suavemente de fondo. Él tararea mientras corta las verduras. La cocina huele deliciosa.
After eating, Pablo goes to the living room and sits on the sofa. He picks up the remote and turns on the television. A comedy show is on. He laughs at the jokes.

Later, Pablo decides to do some cleaning. He takes the vacuum cleaner and cleans the floors. Then he washes the dishes in the sink. His apartment looks nice and tidy.

Pablo's phone rings. It is his friend Luis calling. Luis asks if Pablo wants to go to the movies. Pablo says yes and agrees to meet at seven o'clock.
El teléfono de Pablo suena. Es su amigo Luis llamando. Luis pregunta si Pablo quiere ir al cine. Pablo dice que sí y acepta encontrarse a las siete.
Before leaving, Pablo takes a quick shower. He changes into clean clothes and looks at himself in the mirror. He brushes his hair and is ready to go out.
Antes de salir, Pablo se da una ducha rápida. Se cambia de ropa y se mira en el espejo. Se cepilla el pelo y está listo para salir.
He turns off all the lights and locks the door behind him. Walking down the street, he feels happy to have a cozy home to return to. His apartment is his safe place.

When Pablo returns home later that night, he is tired but content. He brushes his teeth and goes to bed. He sets his alarm for the next morning and falls asleep quickly.
