Shopping at the Supermarket – Cumpărături la supermarket

Maria grabs her reusable shopping bag and heads out the door. The morning sun is already warm as she walks down the street towards the supermarket.

She can see the large parking lot from a distance, half-filled with cars. A few neighbours are already there, pushing their carts towards the entrance.

Inside, the supermarket is bright and well-organised. Maria first heads to the fruit and vegetable section. The display is colourful and inviting — red tomatoes, green cucumbers, yellow peppers, and bunches of fresh herbs.

She carefully selects a few ripe tomatoes, checking each one for firmness. She adds a bag of salad leaves and some fresh basil to her basket.

She picks up a litre of semi-skimmed milk and a small pot of Greek yoghurt. The cheese counter offers a wide selection — she chooses a piece of cheddar and some fresh mozzarella for a salad she plans to make later.

She then moves on to the dry goods aisle, where she grabs a box of pasta, a tin of tomatoes, and a bottle of olive oil. Her basket is getting quite heavy now.

On her way to the checkout, Maria passes the household items section. She remembers that she needs washing-up liquid and grabs a bottle.

The queue at the cashier is short today — only two people ahead of her. She places her items on the conveyor belt, pays by card, and packs everything back into her reusable bag.

With a smile, she thanks the cashier and heads home. She is happy with her shopping and looks forward to cooking a nice meal.
