Raising Children – Creșterea copiilor

Every morning at seven o'clock, Laura wakes up her two children. She opens the curtains and turns on the light in their room. The children slowly get out of bed and go to the bathroom.
În fiecare dimineață la ora șapte, Laura își trezește cei doi copii. Ea deschide perdelele și aprinde lumina în camera lor. Copiii se ridică încet din pat și merg la baie.
After breakfast she helps them get dressed for school. Her son Mihai always chooses his clothes the night before. Her daughter Ana needs more time and sometimes asks for help.
După micul dejun ea îi ajută să se îmbrace pentru școală. Fiul ei Mihai își alege întotdeauna hainele cu seara înainte. Fiica ei Ana are nevoie de mai mult timp și uneori cere ajutor.
Laura walks the children to school which is ten minutes away. They talk about the day ahead and what lessons they have. At the school gate the children say goodbye and run inside.
Laura își conduce copiii la școală care este la zece minute distanță. Ei vorbesc despre ziua care urmează și ce lecții au. La poarta școlii copiii își iau rămas bun și aleargă înăuntru.
When the children come home, Laura asks about their day. Mihai tells her he got a good grade in maths. Ana says she played with her friends during the break.
Când copiii se întorc acasă, Laura îi întreabă despre ziua lor. Mihai îi spune că a luat o notă bună la matematică. Ana spune că s-a jucat cu prietenele ei în pauză.
After a snack it is time for homework. Laura sits at the table with them and helps when they have questions. She does not give them the answers but guides them to find the solutions.
După o gustare este timpul pentru teme. Laura stă la masă cu ei și îi ajută când au întrebări. Ea nu le dă răspunsurile ci îi ghidează să găsească soluțiile.
When the homework is done the children can play outside. They go to the small park near their building. Laura watches them from a bench while reading a book.
Când temele sunt gata copiii se pot juca afară. Ei merg la micul parc de lângă blocul lor. Laura îi privește de pe o bancă în timp ce citește o carte.
In the evening they have dinner together as a family. They talk about funny things that happened during the day. Laura's husband shares stories from his work too.
Seara iau cina împreună ca familie. Ei vorbesc despre lucruri amuzante care s-au întâmplat în timpul zilei. Soțul Laurei împărtășește și el povești de la serviciu.
After dinner it is bath time for the younger child. Laura prepares warm water and brings clean pyjamas. Ana takes a bath while Mihai reads a comic book in his room.
După cină este timpul de baie pentru copilul mai mic. Laura pregătește apă caldă și aduce pijamale curate. Ana face o baie în timp ce Mihai citește o revistă cu benzi desenate în camera lui.
At eight thirty Laura reads a bedtime story to both children. They listen carefully and ask questions about the characters. Soon their eyes become heavy with sleep.
La ora opt și treizeci Laura le citește o poveste de culcare ambilor copii. Ei ascultă cu atenție și pun întrebări despre personaje. Curând ochii lor devin grei de somn.
Laura turns off the light and closes the door quietly. She feels tired but happy. Raising children is hard work but she loves every moment of it.
Laura stinge lumina și închide ușa încet. Ea se simte obosită dar fericită. Creșterea copiilor este o muncă grea dar ea iubește fiecare moment.
